Freedom
I love my car. I haven't been able to drive it for the past 5 months because my insurance company dropped me for having too many points. But I just got insurance last week and I felt like screaming like Mel Gibson getting his intestines ripped out, "F-R-E-E-D-O-M!!!!" And God was really gracious to me even though I was just naturally paying the consequences of my bad driving. Before I got dropped, I was paying $2200/year. If I got insurance again right away, I would have had to pay $3500. But since I waited until my points went down, I'm now paying $1700. NJ insurance. Go figure. Never mind that it's illegal to have a registered uninsured vehicle in NJ. I'm gonna take a mini-road trip to DC at the end of the month, and I can't wait. There's nothing like listening to your favorite music and just driving, alone with your thoughts, finally making sense of them all.
I think I wanna marry someone like my car. I think my car is hot. Not everyone would think so, but I look at it and think, dang, what an attractive automobile. But see, not only is the car attractive, but it's a Toyota Solara, which is essentially a two-door, slightly faster, slightly nicer Camry. And Camrys, as we all know, are incredibly solid and dependable cars. And isn't that the ideal? A car(wife) that will support you, that you can count on, won't complain or break down too much and just keeps steady and consistent with an oil change and fuel injector cleaner every few months. Then when the car is too old and you've outgrown it, you can trade it in and get a brand new one! Hahaha... j/k... You won't get too much value for your old car, so you might as well keep it. Yeah, I wanna marry my car...
Dido
I don't do much product endorsement on my posts, but I have got to say, Dido's new album, "Life for Rent", is absolutely AWESOME. I bought her first CD, and thought it was just OK, but this one I've listened to every day for like the past two weeks and I'm still not tired of it. Very interesting and soothing music. If anybody wants it, I'll burn a copy for you if you're nice to me or buy me ice cream or something...

Hey burn me a copy. I'm nice.
congrats!
1700 isn't that bad
hooj, i think you should change your name to hootch... as in a hootchi-mama, or in your case, a hootchi-dada. cars as girls? you would appreciate R. Kelly's old song, "You remind of something"
I believe the lyrics go:
You remind me of something
I just can't think of what it is
[1] - You remind me of my jeep, I wanna ride it
Something like my sound, I wanna pump it
Girl you look just like my cars, I wanna wax it
And something like my bank account
I wanna spend it, baby
It's something about your love that's got me going crazy
Baby, you know I want you real bad
And girl I really like your freaky style
How can I be down with you?
So get a little closer to my ride
I wanna get to know you lady
And hip me up on how to get inside you
Listen, pretty baby
[2] - I wanna roll it, roll it, roll it, roll it
Is all I wanna do for you baby
Girl, it's something kind of sexy
Goin' on about you babe
[repeat 1, 1]
Now I would like to take you on a ride tonight
Girl, you know we'll have so much fun
And give you everything your body needs
Satisfaction guaranteed
So pull up to my bumper and let the system sound
Girl, I bet cha' I can drive you crazy
And let me be the one to drop you off
Babe, listen to me
[rpt 2, 1, 1...1]
Don't be alone, don't be alone
I'm comin' through your door
Turn off the lights, turn off the lights, baby
It's something about this moment
[rpt 1, 1, 1...]
and i get the tix!!!

now burn me a copy of dido. i agree with you, the first cd was just ok, except 2-3 great songs. i like the new song, more the words than the melody. anyway, based on this post alone, riaa's gonna sue you!
hmm... nice tunes you listen to, song... especially for someone who's "celibate"...
