Hey, my church was in yesterday's New York Times article! I gave an interview, but they didn't publish it.

"Meantime, as a Vatican official said its ambassadors would seek to explain the pope’s remarks better, a Turkish man with a fake gun tried to storm a Protestant church in the capital of Ankara. He was arrested after worshippers trapped him in the church entryway."
Btw, nobody trapped him in the entryway. They just called the police.

i love sensationalism media~
man, what they'd do for audience. shouldn't that be called semi-fictitious news?
u should have made up something like 'i was the one that tackled the guy onto the floor.'
and no, the post wasn't about chicks in particular.. but sure, it fits well.
my dad's thinkin about taking a trip to turkey for my parents' 25th anniversary. should i advise him against this now that ppl with fake guns are running around attacking churches?
well, technically, it was a real gun but loaded with blanks, so it's a little more alarming than just a fake gun, and even though there isn't really that much bombing going on right now compared to the rest of the world, US and Turkey are going to be stepping up pressure on the PKK, so there is a good chance that there may be more bombings in retaliation, so to make a long story short, I would probably say it's not a real great time to visit, actually.
this is a good example of a run-on sentence.
Did you cause the ruckus? :-p
why'd he have blanks? they're more expensive than real bullets. interesting.
hope you guys stay safe there!
